Finding Student Scholarship Matches

To match a student's profile to specific available scholarships, College Dollars needs to conduct a dialog. That dialog will consist of the student completing each of the first 4 sections on the "profile" screens. Information from each section helps draw an increasingly detailed picture of the scholarship opportunities available to this student.

Perform the following 6 steps in the My Profile section:

1. After registering, complete the Student Profile section that describes you and supplies important contact information.

2. Complete Student Academics section that asks about your academic performance as well as your career objectives. Be sure and enter all the information requested. Some scholarships are only for certain career goals.

3. Select the Student Activities that apply to you. The more activities you select will cause more scholarships to be selected when searching for matching scholarships. Some scholarships require that you participate in specific activities to qualify for the scholarship.

4. Enter additional Parent Information to help pin-point additional scholarship opportunities.

5. After the above sections are completed, click on the Find Scholarships button. This tells College Dollars to generate a list of scholarships that match your specific information. You may change your personal information at anytime and click the Find Scholarships button.

6. View the Scholarship Results that College Dollars has found for you.

The Student Profile section should be completed first and then the remaining 3 steps may be completed in any order and changed at any time. You can logout and login and your information will be saved. You can change your selections at any time. If you do change your personal information, select Find Scholarships again to rebuild a new list of matching scholarships. There is no limit on the number of times you can search for scholarships. Review each matching scholarship and make application to those for which you may qualify.
